I was tasked with writing copy, designing the layout, and coding the new Welcome Email Series at Wild Fork Foods. These type of emails provide an immediate opportunity to make a positive first impression, introduce your brand's unique voice and values, and set expectations for future interactions.

This email went through multiple versions before the copy, design, and images were finalized. The final strategy for this was to A/B test a plain text vs branded email for 3 months and optimize from there.
Wild Fork Foods sought to rekindle relationships with two key customer segments: occasional buyers (2-3 purchases in 12 months) and one-time buyers. To achieve this, I developed a comprehensive 30-day re-engagement plan.
To ensure a focused approach, customers were removed from other marketing communications while actively participating in the re-engagement journey. The plan included a series of targeted emails and SMS messages:
Personalized Email 1: Leveraging the power of personalization, this email highlighted the top two best-selling categories tailored to each customer's preferences.
Targeted Email 2: A dynamic approach was employed, delivering different content to customers based on their engagement with Email 1.
Product-Focused Email 3: This email showcased the convenience of the "Quick and Easy" product category.
A/B Tested Email 4: To optimize engagement, an A/B test was conducted. One version promoted the recipe blog, while the other focused on meal prep solutions.
Promotional Email 5: A time-limited offer was introduced to incentivize immediate action.
SMS Reminder 1: A 24-hour reminder was sent via SMS to maximize the impact of the promotional offer.
Email Reminder 2: A plain-text email served as a secondary reminder for those who might have missed the SMS.
Wrap-Up Email 7: The final email summarized the benefits of shopping with Wild Fork Foods, reinforcing brand loyalty.
By implementing this strategic re-engagement plan, Wild Fork Foods could successfully reconnect with lapsed customers, and hopefully drive increased engagement and sales.
